When fishing with HotFish Charters you will be riding in a custom built Gordon Boatworks Waterman 18! It is equipped with a 70hp Yamaha outboard and Bob's jack-plate to allow for shallow water travels. It also has a live-well, cooler for ice and drinks as well as a Power-Pole shallow water anchor system.

I chose this boat as it is designed with fisheries such as the Indian River, Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge and Mosquito Lagoon in mind. The shallow drafting(less than 6”), quiet, dry and stable Waterman 18 is truly the finest technical poling skiff made! The Waterman 18 will allow you to fish areas previously inaccessible with a conventional boat.

All necessary equipment is provided for a successful day on the water. Captain Mike uses only top quality equipment provided by the following manufacturers:
Riptide Saltwater Lures, Shimano Reels, St. Croix and Karma Light-Tackle Spinning rods, Stiffy Push Poles, Sage Fly Rods, Nautilus reels, Smith/Action Optics, Abel, Patagonia, Cloudveil, Chota, and RIO Fly lines.
